More Than 20000 Maruti S-Cross Units Recalled

20,247 S-Cross units have been recalled by Maruti Suzuki as a fault in brakes has been suspected. If the need arises, Maruti may also replace the parts which are faulty in the recalled units. The recall involves units of both models of the S-Cross include both the variants namely 1.3 litre Diesel DDiS and 1.6 litre diesel DDiS 320.

Maruti says that the fault in brakes may cause the brake fluid to seep. Maruti has offered to get the issue resolved by replacing the faulty parts.

The recall will focus on the units produced between April 20, 2016- February 12, 2016. The dates have been provided to enable the car owners to check if their car qualifies for the recall. The owners can request the company to recall their car by filling an online form which is available at  www.nexaexperience.com. The owners will be required to provide the chassis number of their car to request a recall. Nexa dealers can also be contacted to get information about the procedure.

The recall decision has been taken by Maruti in order to ensure the safety of the owners.
