26 May 2016 : It must have been an exhilarating experience for the 11 winners in the promotional contest #TIAGO 11 hosted by the Facebook page of Tata Tiago. The chosen 11 were flown to Spain to spend time with the living legend Lionel Messi. Messi is also the Tiago global brand ambassador.
The 11 who won the contest belong to different corners of India. Meeting Lionel Messi was an opportunity no one would have missed. Messi had done a promotional video soon after Tiago was launched in India. The carmaker also released a video depicting the experience of the winners. The winners were thrilled and excited at the prospect of meeting Messi.
After suffering numerous setbacks, Tata is making all efforts to maximize customer engagement and market the Tiago.
The car’s launch was delayed from January to April 2016. Soon after the launch, the Tiago almost replaced the manufacturer’s other model, the much popular Tata Indica. The Tiago is available in both diesel and petrol variants. It boasts of a new design philosophy. The car in itself is all set to mark the start of a revolution in terms of its design and distinct features.
