After Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli Emerging As A ” Hero “

20 May 2016 : Virat Kohli’s 4th hundred in the IPL 2016, has made him a hero. In Wednesday’s match, Virat performed exceptionally well scoring 50 runs out of 113 balls.

With the superb performance, Virat has taken his IPL career tally to exceed 4000 runs. In the present season he has managed to get 865 runs in the 13 matches he has played as captain of the of the Royal Challengers team.

He currently has a strike rate of 155.01 with an average of 86.50. In the present IPL season, Virat has scored 4 centuries and 5 half centuries.

The grit and determination exhibited by Virat is exemplary. At an IPL match two days ago, he had, in an attempt to catch a shot by Andre Russell, Kohli had injured his left hand. The injury failed to lessen his determination and he continued to play the match. He even managed to score 75 runs from 51 balls which was a major factor contributing to the win of his team in the match. Post the match, Kohli received stitches on his hand. The injury however left him undeterred and he gave a superb performance at the match against Kings XI Punjab.

Virat Kohli deserves a salute for his determination.
