#IPL : Will The Struggling Mumbai Indians Bounce Back ?

20 April 2016 : Mumbai Indians, whose performance so far has not been up to the mark, hope to bag a victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL at Wankhede Stadium today.

After losing to Pune Supergiants, Mumbai Indians bounced back by securing a win over Kolkata Knight Riders but subsequently lost matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions. So far they have just managed to secure two points from four games played and currently hold the seventh position.

The series of losses can be attributed to the loose team combination. On the other hand, Royal Challengers led by Virat Kohli look promising with their fourth position on the points table. It will be a battle of sorts as even Royal Challengers definitely need a win to bounce back after losing to Delhi Daredevils.

Mumbai Indians are sure to make every effort to win today’s match. The not so  good performances by New Zealand’s Martin Guptill , Parthiv Patel, Hardik Patel and Jos Buttler have definitely been a setback for the team.

The absence of death overs specialist Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka who has suffered a knee injury is hitting the Mumbai team hard. In this scenario, all hopes are on Harbhajan Singh, Tim Southee and Mitchell McClenaghan.
